路透社報導，6日大批川粉闖進美國國會大廈引發的國會大亂鬥「震驚全世界」，多國領袖嚴厲譴責暴力，呼籲政權和平轉移。
綜合路透社、半島電視台報導，向來與川普友好的英國首相強生（Boris Johnson）隨即發布推文，稱在美國會上演的畫面「相當可恥」。他說美國支持世界各地的民主，「現在對美國至關重要的是要和平、有序地轉移政權。」

在國際議題上一向支持美國的五眼聯盟重要成員澳洲也對周三的暴力行動感到遺憾，澳洲總理莫里森（Scott Morrison）在推特描述美國會上演的畫面「令人憂心」，「我們譴責這些暴力行為，期待美國依照美國偉大的民主傳統，將政權和平轉移給新當選的政府。」

法國總統馬克宏（Emmanuel Macron）則發布影片，痛批美國會發生的動亂「很不美國」，強調他對美國民主仍有信心。
德國外交部長馬斯（Heiko Maas）表示美國會動盪畫面將激勵反對民主的人士，他更呼籲川普應該及支持者最終應該接受美國選民的決定，呼籲他們「停止踐踏民主」。

瑞典總理勒夫文（Stefan Lofven）的推文中，譴責川普的意味更直白、濃厚，他痛批國會暴動是「對民主的攻擊」，「川普總統及許多國會議員應該為這次事件承擔重大責任，選舉總統的民主程序應該獲得尊重。」
歐洲聯盟執行委員會（European Commission）主席范德賴恩（Ursula von der Leyen）更直接表態期待和拜登合作，「我相信美國政府及民主的力量，政權和平轉移是核心，@拜登贏得了大選。我期待和擔任下一界美國總統的他一起合作。」
