每年的世界衛生大會（WHA）都得到台灣人不少關注，迫切期望能有機會參與，而疫情肆虐的2021，各國災情頻傳，台灣對抗疫情讚譽有加，多國也紛紛站出來表態願意支持台灣加入WHA，讓更多人聽見我們台灣的聲音。
根據外媒報導，美國務院發言人普萊斯（Ned Price）於台灣時間周五（4／30）在個人推特（Twitter）發文說到「台灣有對抗此疫情的全球頂尖專家，我們必須在世界衛生大會上聽到台灣的聲音」。（Taiwan has some of the world’s leading experts in combatting this disease, and we need to hear from Taiwan at the World Health Assembly.）

不僅如此，美國國會兩黨議員也表現大力支持，除了提出援助台灣參與WHO相關法案，更是在社群媒體瘋傳「讓台灣幫忙」的主題標籤。

第74屆WHA預定將於5月24舉辦，由於疫情至今善吾得到控制，因此今年的WHA預計將以虛擬方式招開。
